Why this web page was created?
Probably many of people visiting this web page are guessing: Why this web page was created? Answer is not so simply and can not be explain so simple. There is a many reasons.
Basic reason is to put all information about Soltys family in Jurgow and near area. Now there is only a few information about it but I hope will be more soon.
History of my Soltys family is nothing special I just want to put all information together because as far as I know there was nobody in my family writing family history. I thought that there is nothing special and I know pretty enough to write something. It was a long time ago, something around 1998 or 1999. I just discover what Internet is and that people can publish informations there etc. I found a Soltis Family Genealogy Forum. I post message there that I'm want to create a Soltys family history in Jurgow. Is a long time since I posted this message and the Soltys family history from Jurgow is still not ready. I have no idea that is not so easy. I notice that when I go into it a little bit more.
I started collecting information only about my family. About grand parents, great grand parents etc... There is a lot of things to do for each person if you want to do it really good. I hope I still have some time to fulfill this idea.
Currently it's complicated because I'm most of the time away from Jurgow and have no chance to check parish birth records or check other information in a local archives. Collecting of information is then very slow and requires a lot of time to put in at right place.
Internet grow very quickly from the 1998 when I generally had first experience with it. Now is probably the best place to publish such information.
I know it because since the time when I started this small web page with only a few information many people is sending me e-mails with questions about their Soltis family members or other family members with surname similar to this which they can find at my list.
It give me a lot of satisfaction when I can help a people to find some usefully information about their family.
